One recent series that I have read and enjoyed is, of course, the Percy Jackson series. The book is around a middle school level of reading. I am in high school and I thoroughly enjoyed it and my little brother who is in the fourth grade is attempting to read it. This should be enough evidence to show people that you don't have to be a certain age to enjoy the series.
The series deals with greek mythology. It is about a 12-year old boy named Perseus who is the son of the God of the seas, Posiedon. Percy goes on many adventures to save his demi-god camp (which he resides in the summer) and to defeat public-enemy #1, Kronos, who is a Titan ( Titans are deities created before the gods) This series really got me interested in greek mythology and not to mention the half human half horse people are seriously funny.

HEY!!! We watched this in class the other day when there was almost no one there. Great story line one the better plots i have ever seen in a movie, 2 thumbs all the way up!!... which is not to high considering the fact that i'm pretty short.

One of my favorite movies is The Exorcism of Emily Rose. This movie is about a teenager being possessed by demons. They try to get the demons out of her but she dies. This is a good movie because it is scary and based on real events.

I personally, have a lot of favorites, but, my all-time favorite will always be the Harry Potter Series. I mean, it has everything; adventure, mystery, mythology, love and action. I as a child, felt connected to Harry's sense of misplacement in the Dursley home and the alienation because of his differances. I love the magic in it as well and I am proud to say that I am still awaiting my letter from Hogwarts.

My favorite movie is from the early 1960's; Breakfast at Tiffany's. I enjoyed watching Audrey Hepburn play the character Holly Golightly who was confident at a glance but extremely vulnerable and scared inside. The movie is funny but can be considered emotional too. This is Audrey Hepburn's most memorable piece. She is a wonderful actress and made the character she played believable, although in reality she was an introvert. I think I enjoyed seeing the wardrobe most!

My favorite movie is call A Walk To Remember. It is about a troubled teen who has to do this school play as part of his community service. He fall in love with the nerdiest girl that everyone mokes fun of and they also happen to have the lead rolls in the play. He later finds out that she has leukemia and this breaks his heart so he tries to accomplish everyone of he wishes before she dies. I highly recommend this movie to everyone.

My favorite movie is Speak which was made from the book speak. I like the book better than the movie though because it has more detail in it which, was really weird, I thought it would be the other way around.

My favorite movie is the Hangover. It's so funny. It's inappropriate for younger children. My favorite part is when the little chinese man jumps out the trunk of the car butt naked on the other guy. i could not stop laughing.

My favorite book is Forged by Fire by Sharon M. Draper. This book is about a brother and sister who had continuous problems with their stepfather. One day their stepfather had tried to kill both of them in a fire. This incident had resluted in them being taken away by social services. I found this book to be very interesting and I believe it would be a good book for most middle and high school students to read.
